My job? The company buys used mobile plants (mining dumptrucks) and strips them, modifies them and sells them to other mining companies. It's NOT what i had in mind when i signed up. Any fool can weld a few bolts to a chassis and, apart from crack repairs, that's basicly what my job involves. Still, the weekly tax i'm paying equates to what i was earning after tax in my previous job so that gives you an idea of where the pay's at. I've also been offered (whether i want it or not) positions at various mine sites through the people that i work with so when the work does run out, i'm not short of options. Generally, all is pretty right with my life at the moment. No complaints from me.
Come ane work at Cadia Valley Operations with your pal Hive!
