I love discovering music this way! I was reading a programme for The Sydney Festival the other day and, having seen The Cat Empire at The Famous Spiegel Tent a few years back was interested in the line-up this year, even though I'll be OS at the time.

I read a blurb about this guitarist called Kaki King and she seemed interesting so I checked her out on iTunes. Amazing! I listened to just 2 of those 30 second grabs and bought her album "Legs To Make Us Longer". She is an absolutely stunning player and writer! I love people like Leo Kottke and this finger picking complex form of folk guitar. He's actually responsible for me not often using a pick these days.

So it was a great surprise and reward to hear this woman. My current favourite album! [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
