Yet these jackasses come into computers (where I coincidentally do all my stocking mostly), stand around for about a minute watching the lone computer guy on shift because we can't hire anymore, then come and bitch at me first because a. They've been standing for "half an hour" waiting for some service and b. When I offer to try and help they turn me away because I'm not in that department and just walk away with a huff. When you guys go in to whine about stuff, try to be at least respectful of the associates. From some of your comments here, I can see that some of you are of the type that treat them like dirt for following company policy. Don't argue for the sake of arguing, we aren't going to bend for your benefit.

And that attitude, sir, is why your company sucks ass and I won't buy from them. Nice to know the "don't give a shit" attitude that management has has been able to trickle down to you guys.

Originally my beef was simply a retarded return policy. Now you've simply added fuel to the fire. /salute
I do "give a shit"... if you read correctly, you'd see I offer to help the people. That's not even in my job description... I'm merchandising, not customer service.

Contrary to popular belief, I like my job. It's you asswads that make it unpleasant. The reciept policy is quite universal to any store. This isn't anything new either. Live with it or don't come to my store and make my day miserable.

The point of the reciept policy is to prevent theft. Anyone could have just walked in, grabbed the product off the shelf and walked up to customer service with it pleading your case. So do you see why these asswads wouldn't take it now?
Um... no. If you have ever been to a BB, you'd know that merchandise gets tagged at the door on the way in. I'm not surprised a BB employee doesn't know the procedure, though -- such incompetence is a running theme it seems.

At any other retail store -- if you don't have a receipt you can still return the merchandise, but you can only get store credit, not cash. Which is what we wanted.

So, I have to go do RL things now, nice confirming how much you guys suck -- thanks.
Oh so I'm incompetant now? Thanks for the compliment. I'll have you know, I just returned something a few weeks ago at a Best Buy (not the one I work at), and I managed to get it returned without it tagged.

I have never been able to return anything, for store credit, exchange, complete return... nothing without a reciept.
