A trojan (as in "Trojan Horse") is indeed what I described. The fact that it is also a keylogger is inconsequential. I did
not describe a virus. A virus is a small program that "hitches a ride" on other software. Trojans are actual stand alone programs that are designed from the ground up to carry a payload.
What
you described is not a trojan - you described a backdoor.
Backdoors can be delivered as virii
or trojans.
