We're updating the BOA meter now, but we wanted to tell you that we've hit the $50 million mark thanks to you. BOA hasn't bended, but hopefully its execs have learned a lesson.
Clark Howard has a discussion forum about the BoA incident, and I read a few interesting stories, such as a man who took his money out of the savings account when he learned he was being charged a monthly $5.00 fee but somehow missed the .88¢ interest deposit and so this kept the account open, unbeknownst to him, and so BoA continued to steal $5.00 from his checking account for a total of $10 before he realized it and got so angry at this method of business that he closed all BoA accounts.

Another poster mentions that Michael is uneligable to sue BoA in California where this took place because the state law that was passed in 2004(?) states that an individual cannot sue a coporation on basis of wrongful arrest.

Another lady posted that BoA, after the merger with (whoever) recently, has begun applying a small, extra residual fee on all credit card holders that seems suspicious and probably not founded on any honest reasoning.

There are, of course, some stockholders and employees of BoA posting their disgust there on the forums as well.
