I always have a good stock of potions that will never get used.
Apart from the strength increase/master thievery ones the only one I ever use is mirrored eyes - Khalid can easliy clear the basilisk area single-handedly with a couple of those.
The rest I always keep in reserve, for the rainy day that never comes.
