It's later in the day and I've had my mountain dew now... life is much, much better

I'm going to go with Genghis Khan. Why? Because his empire lived on several centuries after his death... not so with most of the others. And he took the most territory, too.

*edit* Plus, he lived to the ripe old age of 65... quite a feat in those days.
