I found Anomen VERY annoying at first. But ever since I took him to the Temple of Helm and he became Sir Anomen (he finally completes his 'training'), he has stopped his constant banterring. I think that he's only spoken once since then, and it was slightly arrogant (he told Aerie that some one of his importance knows how to speak to other people unlike she does, or something like that). So there's a way to adjust to every character in one way or another
