My new PC has both Firewire as well as USB ports. I need to find a software that:
1) Take mini-DV recordings from our Panasonic PalmCorder, store said material on harddrive, and allow both editing and additions such as power point, etc.
2) To be able to burn said material onto DVD/CD.
3) Will edit transfer, store, and permit editing of VCR tapes. I know I need some kind of hardware fro this but I don't know what it it is called.
I haven't a clue as to what I will be doing so I don't need all the bells and whistles but I also know a stripped down version isn't wise. Any out there that is user friendly. preferably with a manual? Thanks.
