It's mildly amusing that the reporter describes this as a "difficult time" as they've been claiming they're better at keeping data secure than MS. I think he's slightly lost perspective here - so that's one Symantec security flaw, vs how many a day in MS products?
You shouldn't place too much trust in these security companies in any case - where were they to protect you when the Sony rootkit struck?
