Hey everybody, I'm considering upgrading my very old video card for a somewhat old card. I have two questions: first, will putting an agp 8X card into a slot designed for agp 4X cause problems for my motherboard/card?

Second - I've been looking through newegg.com - thanks to whoever recommended that site a while ago, can't remember who it was - at cheap cards (i'm upgrading from a geforce 256, primarily to try out Eve Online but also since much better cards are so cheap) and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I don't know much about cards, but for example they have geforce FX series cards for under 40 bucks. I do want to stick with Nvidia as I've had really good luck with them so far.
