It's unmodded BG2. The armours that appear aren't in truth that good so the reason you never got them is probably because you never imported with one. IIRC one of them is a platemail+1, although I can't remember the rest. For more information check out Dan Simpons FAQ at www.gamefaqs.com it's in there in the Irenicus' dungeon section.
