The town that hosted Australia's first training session in Germany held an event to welcome the players in grand style. It looked like they put a lot of effort into it, with a large, formal reception and kids lining up for autographs and all that. The sad bit is, (and i hang my head) it appears to have been ignored by the lead players for one reason or another. I don't know if other countries are recieving similar warm welcomes, but it certainly seemed to be genuine respect.

We'll have to win something before we're taken seriously, though. And make time in a busy schedule for a bit of PR, apparently.
