I never have had serious troubles with them. Cast Web (Chant) or something else to hold and/or Slow them , then cast your favorite spells on them Fire balls, Cloud kills, Ice storms - whatever (two are enough), also an invisible cleric with blades shield will do the job just fine, also ... etc. - there are so many ways.
