Being in the military I can tell you that purple hearts aren't exactly hard to get. If you are in combat, fall down and break your finger, you will get a purple heart. (ok, not THAT easy, but quite easy). Now if he got a Congressional Medal of Honor, THEN I would be more inclined to vote for him. He didn't WIN them, he was given them. Look how many people in Iraq and Afghanistan have had them given too.
