Ok, i have doom, it has sufficently scared the "bejebus" out of me many times, and it makes me nervous to play, shearly spectacular game though. The graphics are amazing, and it is just great, although i can only run it on the "high" detail setting, in 1024 x 768 res with 2x antialiasing, i want the "ultra" detail setting!
bah!
so upgrade now... graphics card i guess... i have a radion 9600 with 256m ddr, i just want to get halflife and be able to play it with full detail settings, doom is just a system test for the "real" thing.
