The use of tobaco is a long-time human behavior. Some cultures have built rituals around the use of tobaco, like the peace-pipe of native american fame.

If people are so worried about dying they should quit driving cars, flying in areoplanes, and ban guns, ect.

America has managed to ban smoking in most places, and if a person is outside and doesn't want to smell tobacco, they should cross the street or roll up thier car windows. I hate the smell of most cologne and car exhaust, but I'm not on any crusade to ban them.

I smoke organicly grown tobaco, with no additives. I smoke about 6 cigarettes a day. I am happy.
Suicide is also a long time human behavior. Some culture have built "rituals" around suicide, like hara-kiri and kamikaze of Japanese fame.
