Kender are a race of short humanoids, human-like, except only about four foot in height. They are extremely friendly, but are scoundrels, they steal for the fun of it, sing at all hours, and are very light-hearted and mischievous. They are often found in Forgotten Realms stories, and perhaps the most famous Kender of all is Tasslehoff Burrfoot, found in the 'Dragonlance Chronicles' by Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman.
