I generally leave one or two of the subqests untouched and maybe a dragon or two so Imoen has something to do when she gets back.

What quests I take is very much influenced by the loot I can extract from them.

I nearly always do Trademeet before because it yields so much money as well as some kickass items. I also tend to do the Mae'Var's guild quest before for the money.

After all I do want to tool my party up properly before I go.
