They are so sick looking, I like to call them "mummy's fingers" cause that is what they look like LOL! What gets me is I'll stop in there for a cup of coffee in the morning, and there is a group of construction guys there just a-buyin em up! Hello! Good morning! Breakfast of Champions!
Lemon juice eh? Never tried that before. What does it do? Does it make the corn taste lemmony (sp?) Doh! I always thought the softer kernels were the freshest! Will get the hard kernels next time I buy corn on the cob
LMAO I know the hot dogs you are talking about...N A S T Y and yeah those construction workers must have iron stomachs or something. I caught my brother in law buying the sausages one day and he tried to tell me that because they were sausages, they were better than the hot dogs Uh OK!
I don't know what the lemon juice does to/with the corn on the cob...it is a Betty crocker thing and if you've ever seen the commercials, "Betty Knows"
Seriously, the best corn on the cob I've ever had and I've gotten many compliments from other people when I cook it that way.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread and your questions...I don't get over here much anymore but will make a point to drop in more often than I have been.
