1) Do you listen to music often?
It's actually less often that I
don't listen to music. I'm a music-a-holic, to invent a new term just for the single purpose of this post.
2) Do you sing along to the songs?
If I know the lyrics? Yes. I tend to shut up with instrumental music, though.
3) Do you play music REALLY loudly?
Situation: my land-lady is during the day always on ground level, while I'm on the second floor. Both the walls and the ceilings are made out of reinforced concrete. I could play my music as loud as I want it without ever having to deal with complaints...
So yes, ocassionally, I turn it up to more or less loud.
4) Has the volume of your music when you played it ever been enough to make things shake?
Erm, plastic cups tend to shake a little sometimes, yes.
5) Have you ever heard a song that brought you to tears?
Definitely, several even. Out of the top of my head, Pinback's
June is a beautiful song. I've seen the band live as well, and was overwhelmed with emotions when they started the opening chords. Magnificent. [img]smile.gif[/img]
6) Do you often listen to music with no words? Just music and no song?
Plaid, Aphex Twin, Autechre are just some examples. And I'm sure there are more if I think I little bit harder.
7) What's your favorite kind of music?
I have no outspoken preferred kind of music, but if you want to tag it in any way, the thing most of my musical favourites have in common is that even the grumpiest music critics think it's great. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
8) What's your favorite group/singer?
Hmm, though one, favourite group is Pavement, I think. Didn't release *any* band albums during their career. I don't have a clearly outspoken favourite singer, though.
9) What's the most moving song you've ever heard?

Erm... no?
12) Do you like silly or pointless songs?
As long as I don't hear them too often, it's possible. But most silly or pointless songs get boring after hearing them a few times.
13) Have you ever heard music so bad you fled in terror to avoid it?
Yes, I ended up once in some sort of discotheque where they were mainly playing après-ski music. If you have no idea what that means, consider yourself lucky, but
nothing can beat that horrible music, not even all the boybands together. At least you have a remote to switch to a different channel at home when something annoying is on.
14) What's the longest you've ever had the same song repeat itself over and over again?
The afore mentioned Pinback with
June once was about 2 hours on repeat...
