Be my guest and nose away!

I use it for every task with the exception of gaming. I do quite a considerable amount of work in Excel and Powerpoint at work, so needless to say I'm impressed with OpenOffice. I plan on trying loading NWN soon and giving that a shot.

The main reason I chose Ubuntu was because of the apt-get command and Package Manager. Being a total Linux noob, I wanted something that was relatively noob-friendly but that didn't hold my hand too much. The only frustration I have is the Load/Shutdown times, but that's more being spoiled than anything else.

I've noticed that occasional there is no AMD64 alternative to an i386 app, but I suspect that will change in the future.

So far, so good!
