Don't worry, there's still a LOT more EXP in the game. Even if you ignored all possible side-quests from this point on, you'd still be roughly Levels 19-20 when you reached the end of SoA.

And don't sweat your levels--using good tactics and playing intelligently is MUCH more important than the levels of your individual characters (except, of course, when it comes to certain spells that you can't use at low levels), and even a Level 12 party could comfortably beat the game, if they were well used.
