At the time, the only mod i had installed was the improved copper coronet from tactics (i think, im going from my first post here) and i had only SoA. I installed SoA, then the official patch, then the fix-pack, then DBG, then tactics. I dont know if visiting Yoshi had any effect, because i didn't visit him. And yes im sure he wasn't standing there blending in. I paused the game (to get the blue/green/red circles around his feet to show up) and he was no where in sight. Also when the mod was working, i didn't have to click to talk to him AFAIK. I'm pretty sure he spoke all by himself.
I now have ToB, and i haven't been through Chataeu Irenicus for months. Bearing in mind that all the above information is bassed on my memory, there could be some errors. Im not 100% sure that DBG came before tactics.
