Hey sandals are pretty handy Sir Degrader when it is hot as hell and summertime. Now flipflops, that's a different story, hate those bastaids LOL. I hate having to grip my toes every time I walk to keep em on, and inevitably that one toe piece that fits inbetween your big toe and your second toe will rub the skin raw. Best summer footwear to me is a sandal that has straps over the foot and one that fits round your ankle, so you can walk in comfort and feel the summer breeze LOL
They are also great for the beach because sometimes the sand gets too hot to walk on, and for those that are sensitive to going in the ocean barefoot LOL (not me). Oh and Sir Degrader, I'm a hippy.
