I remember way back then seeing the guy drink the bacteria in his experiment on himself - they filmed the self-testing for visual proof [img]smile.gif[/img] .
It caught on here some time ago, because when I went to see a doc in 1994 one of the things they tested for was for helico-bacter to see if I had a stomach ulcer.
