Heard about this on the wireless today. Couldn't believe he was 82! Seems like only yesterday i was watching him "battling wits" with C.H.A.O.S. *trails off in reminiscence*.
Inspector Gadget was one of my favourite cartoons. Haven't seen it for donkeys but i can still clearly remember his almost cliched one-liners. "Wowzers!" "Go, go, Gadget *insert name of impossible (but cool) secret agent apparatus here*".
It's a shame he didn't make it to at least 86. That would have been fitting.
