Excellent point of trivia, Rimjaw!

"Corallon help me, I'm beginning to sound just like Cousin Xan!" (Erevain's self-commentary on how gloomy he's becoming). I think you find that journal in the first level of Dragon's Eye.

Just as an interesting point: since IWD takes place about 150 years before the "Time of Troubles", Xan has already been around quite a long time when BG1 takes place.
