IE loads much faster, has much greater compatibility and security problems are non-existant if you practice safe computing.
Of course, I don't visit those, er...adult sites so security really isn't a problem.

Zebo- Not too long ago there was a spamster right here on our very own forum? Anywhos, I just happened to have been booted in WinXp and running IE when I "checked" his crediebtals!? That 'check' would have cost me dearly if I did not have the firewall that I use. Secondly, when I checked back with Opera, there was no 'direct' attack. Later, I went back under Linux and FF, and there was no trace of an ambush whatsoever. Clearly, irregardless of your 'personal' routine, an immenient attack can be counducted from even a non-adult site. Or even from a link right here on our forum.
I do run FF under Linux, and really have grown used to Opera under WinXp, but, and luckily, there are only a few, and becoming fewer weekly, things that only IE can do. Like my place of business online time card, and a few banking establishments, can only be acknoledged by the 'special' script security with-in the security of IE, go figure!
