I'll clarify what I said previously. There is a specific format needed to burn DVDs. This format doesn't change from burner to burner, player to player. You have to convert your video clips to this particular format in order to burn DVDs.

That's why it takes so long to burn your DVDs.

So to answer your question, no you don't need to worry.
