Shop of Silence is across the road from Sorcerous Sundries against the wall. IIRC it has some good thief items, but could be wrong.

I don't quite understand your question. The only quest I can remember is the "Melicamp, anti-chickenator" one; apart from this you meet Kivan (an NPC) and some thief that reckons he can rip off High Hedge, but chickens out and buggers off no matter how you answer him.
