Trey Anastasio was listed as #73 by Rolling Stone, but I would put him higher than that -- I really like his stuff.
Hendrix was great for a guy on the front-end of new technology, such as the Wa Pedal, and perhaps he could've matered the technology in every subsequent evolution -- but sadly we will never know. The volume of work we have from him is impressive, but certainly not the best of anybody.
