Ok, I don't know enough about this to make a valid point, but, I think some of you might find the following quite interesting.

Without going into details, as such, we had a 18 year old Japanese exchange student come to live with us. She was a University student, coming to England to study the language. She was, very bright.

Now, at some point during this time, on her first ever visit to England, Pearl Harbour came up.

She asked us what this was, and we were astounding she had no idea.

Turns out, the Japanese involvment was completely deleted from Japanese history. She had never heard about Pearl Harbour, or anything else. After the war, the Japanese were so ashamed (whether of commiting the acts or losing I don't know), that any mention of it in text was deleted.

She had no idea it occured. It was never taught in school, mentioned, on tv, in films etc. No idea.

She rang her parents the day she found out to ask them, and they confirmed it to be true. She cried for a long time, as she was ashamed of her country.

So, surely if they deleted all this history, they did something wrong?

And Bithron, the word Jew is acceptable. It's not racist, it's an abbreviation. Same us calling us British; Brits. Their is only one abreviation that comes to mind that has been twisted into a racial slur, and that is Paki. But, before all these racists thugs mutilated the definition of the word, Paki was an acceptable abbreviation for Pakistanis. Just nowadays, you can't say that.

Not sure if Jews take offence, but I know I don't if I'm referred to as a Brit.
