I think the network card I had in the system was dying, so I replaced it with a spare I had from my alienware (new mb I got has a nic built on) and NOW, a new router--but the one that got fried was new, so mainly the new network card.
Let me know if you see smoother connections and those errors you get that Cloudy was talking about are gone.. over the next few days..
