I swear by NTFSresize myself, but if you dont have a Linux install available (you can download distros that run from a CD if you need one) or are afraid of command lines, best to skip it.
It is not safe though. Oh, it does the job properly, but it wont stop you from messing it up. So if you make a mistake, you are in trouble.
