Lady- lol, what "he's doing different" is probably having a faster connection. My estimate was for the slowest possible network connection (the oldest legacy ethernet available today) for 100GB. As Seraph said, gigabit ethernet is 10 times as fast as 100Mbps again, so I'm sure he can do it in a matter of minutes if it's a small hard drive.
