You mean go first to canvass, then come back to Sydney and then go again to move? If I had a spare $3500 for a return economy ticket, yes.

It's a bit bloody far for me to go mate, 24 hours airport to airport, including changeover in LA. I used to do it every year to visit my sister in New York, it's a hell connection, almost as bad as Sydney-London.

I only want to go once, but I'm not sure how the rental market is. Can I get a place in 2-3 weeks? I'm renting, not buying btw.
