Well .. a sorta cheesy thing you could try is make Kelsey invisble while your blade chucks a potion of haste and tries to stay alive .. have viconia pelt him with normal sling bullets and summons. Now get kelsey to wait untill Kuriosan's fire/cold protections have worn out ( is he has any, and that includes fireshields ) and then have kelsey read the 3 scrolls you bought ( Fireshield: red, Fireshield: blue, Protection from Acid ). These should be attainable fairly cheap and simple,.. I think the adventurers mart offers all three.
Newayz, after you did that, throw up a stoneskin/ Mirror Image and have Kuriosan hit you .. that's all it takes, 1 or 2 hits ( if it works ).
Offcourse this tactic has some drawbacks. Kelsey might have to go indoors for casting to not attract cowles. You'll have to stay alive relatively long. And I'm assuming you still have a previous save right before which buys you enough time to aquire all the items I mentioned.

NOTE: Explanation:
Once his fire/cold protection wears out and -you- are protected from acid,.. Sanchuudoku will become Kuriosan's own worst enemy. If you put up a fireshield around kelsey ( and make sure he wont be hurt while hit ) .. and Kelsey hits kuriosan or kuriosan hits kelsey, Kuriosan will receive damage. This damage triggers his acidic Backlash, which in turn will trigger Kelsey's fireshield again, triggering another backlash, triggering the fireshield .. etc.
However, you're protected from his damage ( acid ) and he's not from yours [img]smile.gif[/img]
Still kinda of an out-of-the-way tactic, but it's fun
