I'm thinking he should be a CG human. As for class...fighter definitely, maybe some sort of ranger mixed in? He definitely starts (in the prequel) as a fighter, but he's clearly an expert with a longbow and knows some of his herbs and stuff. Should be high strength, high constitution, but I'm not so sure about dexterity...he's supposedly fairly agile but seems to get hit a lot. Either low dex. or else decent dex. and a built in AC penalty. High charisma (despite his scars he seems fairly likeable), high wisdom, but only moderate intelligence (he's well educated but not that well).

How high are you planning to make this dude stats.. you seem to think he should have high in all categorys except intelligence.. that will cost a lot of build points.
O, and not to be mean, but this might need a spoiler tag, as you are giving away parts of the book (traitor and such). maybe its just me. dunno
[/QUOTE]yeah, that's my problem. Most of those characters seem to be very good in general (Kerrigan has low stats overall, but is rediculous spellcastingwise). I'm thinking that Crow should be str 17, dex 12, con 16, int 12, wis 18, cha 16. That's on the high end of stats (91), but it's not unreasonable and definitely rollable. Alternatively, I could make him say, str 16, dex 17, con 16, int 10, wis 17, cha 16, which would put him at 92 points, the only thing is that I'd have to come up with something that would reduce his AC overall.
I've also been thinking on the unique items- Crow's silverwood bow needs some sort of a called shot/automatic hit effect (once per day or something), because he's quite good with it. Perhaps an item of some kind could do this instead though...have it stuck on (like with valen's armor), have it drop the AC, and allow called shots or something. Don't know if that's possible though.
As for Crow and spoilers...if you've read Dark Glory War (where they claim temeryx feathers to be crow feathers, or where the temeryx gives him a number of scars that are mentioned in Fortress Draconis), or pay attention to any of the 8 zillion hints they give (i.e. resolute and crow getting annoyed every time someone mentions him), you should know exactly who he is by about page 20 (not to mention all the "a norrington should have a hawkins with him" comments). It's a bit of a spoiler, but really obvious overall.
