Since you're saying pretty much all forms of rock and rap are shallow, I have this impression you're a country fan, if you are, well, I'll go ahead and digress.

There are very few rappers in which I like, very few and I'll admit it takes skill just like it does to play bass, electric, drums, what have you to say the lyrics that they do. I've listened to them, and they're skilled, but it's what they rap about that gets old. Shoot this, f**k that, smoke, kill, the crap gets old after so long and it's been going strong over a couple of decades now.

Oh, as far as retiring goes, Jay-Z retiring, at what, 34? Then I see him doing all these collaboration albums and tours with other names. No one that's a musician or an artist retires that young.
