One of my fave examples of how ignorant most of the people who bash the pope are is a girl in my friends class, 18 years old, after her rant on how nothing "fun" was on TV (during the newshour) she said

After a bit of inquery my friend found out she thought so because she heard the popes name was John Paul THE SECOND!!!
