You dont want to be going to the USA with pre existing medical conditions, insurance will not cover you. I wish you a very speedy recovery. But you may have to miss out on the flight, or can you put it back a day or so and still make the meeting?

The doctor says that there is no risk (due to the operation being keyhole) its just my comfort level on the flight. Normal recovery time for an apendix operation is a week so by the time i fly out it will have been 8 days. I can cancel at the last minute so we shall see how it goes.
