yes, i belive that would be a good off hand weapon, since it has a +3 thaco which makes up for the bad attack rolls of the off hand weapon. though with all the powerful weapons in the game, itll probaply be used only to cast the spells or to use the free action ability when battling creatures that stun or hold you.
