This is just off the top of my head, probably forgot a few items and some of the prices might be a bit off. But as you can see, even in the unmodded version, it's not very tough to get more than 15000 GP. Removing the items from the Circus tent drops the total toll by about 2000 GP, still well over 15k though. Don't forget that there are loads of money piles in Irenicus dungeon and the Promenade as well, probably amounts to more than 1000 GP just that.

You can easily raise more than 100 000 GP in Waukeen's Promenade if you count Pick-pocketed items. The Fletcher has loads of very expensive arrows, and the smithy right next to him has quite a few valuable armors and shields as well, he's got a very high negative Pick-pocket modifier though. You need 160+ to safely steal from him and that might be hard to accomplish without stacking Potions of Master Thievery. Stealing every single scroll the two scroll merchants in the Promenade has to offer can net you about 30 000 GP, and Jayes himself have a few high level scrolls and other nice items, though you'll have to sell them outside the Promenade.
