I just bought an all-in-one 3 weeks ago. It's an HP 6110. Depending on what your going to spend, that's the way to go. It's just so much more versitile. The other thing to consider is "transparent materials adaptor"! If you have a lot of negatives that you want to scan and organize, this is a great thing. They come on most HP models and I'm sure others as well.
