Hmmm, how old are the people who have made the world "safe"
I think you'll find we're in the age of the coddlers because the people at the top wanted a bit of support when they where younger and are now making up for it with the youth.
Shock horror, but not everything on that list has gone out of style, kids will still stay out all day. People still pop round their freinds houses unannouced, though the walking in bit's far more rare though..
Kid's still ride their bikes with no helmets.
Now a few little things to rain your your parade just a little, many children did not survive the carefree day's, incredibly intelligent people where held back because of minor problems (dislexsia and other simmilar)
Rave on about the good old day's if you want, some of it was good and we have lost good things like a lack of random lawsuits and such, but we've gained a hell of a lot in return.
