And although many international schools in Malaysia
do follow the British system, they don't have to, and many don't. My own school follows the British system from years 7 through 11 (with the International GCSE exams in years 10 and 11), and then the International Baccelaureatte (probably spelled that wrong, but who cares?
), which is based in Switzerland, in years 12 and 13.
The primary school uses the IB Primary Years Programme.
