I hope you enjoy your stay here, and if you think you are breaking the rules (you mentioned this in your post), i suggest reading Dundee Slayterns Sticky note at the top of this bg 2 forum. It tels you about all that you need to know.
As for strongholds, each class has a different stronghold. Dont worry, every class has one. We wont spoil too much for ya, so if you want to knw about each one just ask,
and we will answer as soon as possible.
Since this is just your second time thru the game, i wouldnt strongly suggest NOT downloading any mods yet.. as soon can be buggy and complicated. get a better feel for the game, then you can try some.
On the topic, of strongholds, my favorite of all (maybe because im a sorcerer, and a elf at that
) is the Planar Sphere, the mage stronghold. i wont spoil it for ya, but its a lot of fun.
