Learned some more info just now. The phone was never taken off of North Carolina located and reset to Hawaii location...so all those calls were considered premium roaming or something. The guy that set the phone up at Verizon messed it up and did not tell anyone that they were to reset the phone to contact the proper towers.
It sounds like everything has been sorted out as far as the confusion...but I have warned that woman that she will not ever yell like that again to my sister, or suffer the consequences from me. I don't let anyone mess with Jackie and get away with no bumps nor bruises. Ask around.
