There is indeed a "back door" to the Firewine bridge dungeon:

Go to Gullykin and look for Jenkal's Hut. You notice an odd smell (kobold's???). Confront him and search his hut for a secret door. Using the secret door dumps you smack into the ogre mages room at the back of the dungeon!
